Metrobus PanamaToday begins the end of the Diablo Rojo.  Panamas colorful busses will no longer be allowed on the streets and the Metrobus will take over the remaining routes. The Metrobus was first started in 2010 and since then they have been slowly phasing out the Diablo Rojos by compensating the bus owners with $25,0000.  This is a bit of a sad moment for Panama because the Diablo Rojos are part of the culture so I will miss seeing these crazy busses on the streets.  But a new transportation system was really needed because of all the problems and I think the Metro bus has a much more comfortable user experience.
