Canadian Expat In Panama Requires Airlift

I’m part of the Facebook group for expats in Panama called Tropical Cowboys & Cowgirls and today I received a notification about a fellow Canadian expat here:

Further down in the comments reveals more information but Maeva is on life support right now and her family is only able to see her for one hour each day due to the rules at the hospital. She requires a specialized surgery that is covered by her Canadian healthcare which is why she must be airlifted back.

I personally don’t know Maeva but we are part of the same modeling agency and she is about my age. I donated $20 to help with the airlift costs and I hope that writing this article will help spread the word about it. Head over to THIS LINK to make a donation, every little bit will help.
