The International Film Festival comes to Panama for the second year after great success from the festival last year. During the week there will be over 60 films from around the world shown at the Teatro Nacional, Cinepolis Multiplaza, and open air projections at Plaza Cincuentenario in Casco Viejo. I attended the festival last year and my favorite part was watching the movies at Teatro Nacional; there’s just something really neat about attending a movie screening in a classic, historic theatre instead of the standard theaters we go to today. The open air projection was also really cool and free to attend.
IFF Panama takes place April 11 to 17 and you can read more about the festival as well as finding movie times by going to their website: http://iffpanama.org/en
